In honor of the fabulous success of the men's and women's basketball teams, the president of UTD held a luncheon at the McDermott Library.
(The UTD president ended up missing the event as he was in Austin getting money from the legislature. As excuses go, that one is pretty good)

These photos are a pleasant reminder of the state of current photo equipment. I just had the camera set to auto program mode. The shots are pretty much perfectly exposed and quite sharp. The room lighting and soft colors of the walls also helps. Contrast this to the horrible lighting in the gym, including the yellow reflection bouncing off the floor.
