I did not get many shots in the second half. Once the sun went down I was only able to get enough light if the action was directly in front of me.

For the photo buffs out there I used two different setups. In the first half I used a Nikon D3 camera with the Nikon 80-400 mm lens. In the second half I used a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 70-200 AFS VR lens. All shots were taken with the camera set to ASA 3200.

I shot in RAW mode. I brought the raw files into Photoshop. Once in Photoshop I cropped the files (2x3 aspect ratio), did minor light and color adjustments, ran the images through a 3rd party noise reduction program (NeatImage), added a little sharpening, reduced the pixel size to 1500 x 1000 and then saved and compressed the files into .jpg files. In a few of the files I may have gone in and brightened the faces of the players depending upon the shadows created by the lights at the stadium..
