Closing comments. (One gets a huge amount of editorial sway when he has his own photo website.)
I last saw these two teams play in the 2000 labor day tournament. I have now seen them play a total of 5 times since Sept 1999. All games that I have seen have been decided by one goal, or so I recall. I oftentimes wonder if the difference between winning and losing in those games has been a little luck. (Ok, maybe luck and a nice goalie.) The development of these players since September 2000 is staggering. Congratulations to all. As a 91 parent it has been eye opening. I sure hope the parents of these players truly appreciate how lucky they are to have such wonderful children. (Speaking of luck, geeze.)  These are the coolest kids on the planet. It has been my distinct pleasure to watch them and photograph them. Photography is a great hobby and these players are great targets..

And many thanks to the Texans for wearing their red uniforms instead of the white ones. Long after you have forgotten who won this game you will still be able to look at the photographs and they look much nicer having the red uniforms. Lake Highlands needs to change the rule or at least allow an exception that the home team does not have to wear white if the game involves Sting v Texans. (Do the powers that be really think that Sting might show up for a game against the Texans wearing red uniforms. I just doubt that would ever happen.)
